The Audit Commission is an independent watchdog, driving economy, efficiency and effectiveness in local public services. Its work across local government, health, housing, community safety and fire and rescue services to promote value for money for taxpayers, auditing the £200 billion spent by 11,000 local public bodies.
Comprehensive Performance Assessment (CPA) measures how well councils are delivering services for local people and communities. It looks at performance from a range of perspectives and combines a set of judgements to provide both a simply understood rating and a more complete picture of where to focus activity to secure improvement.
With accuracy critical and an extremely tight schedule, we worked with the in-house design team, and to brand guidelines, proofing directly to the report's authors to produce the 28 page report on time.
